Not much has changed over the last 10 years. If anything, I'm more of a geek now than ever. I have no kids, but my students are great and I love my job. Who would have ever thought that I (who failed 7th grade) would end up teaching it.
After graduation, I spent a year at VMI and then transfered to Marshall University with my wife (then GF) Tiffany Bailey. We spent the next 5 years earning 2 degrees each (I got undergraduate degree in History and a Masters degree in Teaching). After a short stint in Charlotte, NC selling cars, we bought a house in Bluefield and I started working as a sub in Mercer County.
In 2006, I was hired on full time at Bluefield Middle School and have been torturing students here ever since. I am now coaching both football and baseball and loving every minute of it. If you need to know anything else just hop on over to my MySpace page and check it out.
